Application Call for VP of Programs

Do you have a hands-on approach in leading a variety of initiatives? Are you able to manage and thrive in handling multiple tasks simultaneously? Want to apply your strategic event planning and program knowledge to help women in the Bay Area learn skills receive opportunities in leadership training and development, mentorship, personal and professional growth, and network building?  Come apply to become FWL’s VP of Programs!

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining budget for all programs (Partner with VP of Finance for creation). Money raised for events to promote a particular program to go towards that program’s expenses. 
• Liaison for speaker RFP
• Promoter & Resource Partner for Directors
  • Partner with program directors to create vision of sustainable program models that can be replicated annually and to ensure successful execution of FWL programs.
• Represent FWL programs from the broader organizational perspective for event planning, marketing, financial considerations, and policy decisions.
• Recruit directors as needed during course of programming year.
• Brainstorm ideas and provide contacts, as well as ongoing communication and support to directors during program planning and execution.
• Examine Event & Program Surveys for effectiveness

Dedication Time: As Future Women Leaders is a 100% volunteer based team, we understand the commitments of many women.  In order to be a successful VP and member of the team we allocate an average of 4 hours per week to Develop | Learn | Share. 

The position is designed to empower women from July 2011 to July 2012.  Training will take place in June 2011.
