Aye Gee is currently working as a Finance Associate at an environmental commodity trading firm named 3Degrees Group Inc., located in the Presidio of San Francisco. She is entrusted with an Accounts Payable, Payroll, and month-end close function. A Chinese descendent, born and raised in Northern Shan State of Burma, she had learnt to appreciate both Chinese tradition and Burmese Theravada Buddhist tradition. Although her primary reason for coming to the United States was to further her education, she has also learnt to respect other cultures, beliefs, and religions after living more than 10 years in the United States. She enjoys reading, listening to music, and practicing meditation in her spare time.

She graduated from San Francisco State University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, concentration in Accounting. Her interest in Accounting had started long before she came to the United States. As a Beta Alpha Psi member, she had volunteered her time and resources to assist many low-income individuals and elderly and disables people, and new immigrants in filing their income tax returns through Volunteers Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. After her graduation, she pursued her CPA certification and completed all sections of the Uniformed CPA exams while working as a Staff Accountant in a public accounting firm named Chek Tan and Company. Soon after, she helped set up an accounting system for a small start-up restaurant named Dallas Hawaiian Barbecue.
