Events Committee

 

Future Women Leaders (FWL) looks forward to welcoming ladies to our Events Committee to help plan our workshops and events throughout the year This is a great way to get involved and Develop | Learn | Share

 

 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Event Committee Members help with planning, on-site registration, set up, teardown, and photo taking for our events. 
  • Each Event Committee Member must help with at least 2 CORE events (examples: Leadership Development, MBA, Career Mentorship; excludes Conversations with a Chief, Hiking, and social events)
  • Be a Paid Member
  • Attend Monthly Officer Meetings (2nd Wednesday of the Month via Conference Call)

  • Great way to network with other ladies
  • Attend FWL for Free (Can only attend event for free if you are volunteering for that specific event)
  • Recieve preferred consideration if applying to join FWL Officer Team
  • Event Committe member can only LEAD an event (under the direction of the VP of Events) when they have helped with at least 3 events, 90% attendance at officer meetings, and recieve a favorable recommendation from majority of the officers they have partnered with.

 

Dedication Time:  As Future Women Leaders is a 100% volunteer based team, we understand the commitments that you have.  In order to be a successful member of the team, event committee members should allocate an average of 2 hours per week to Develop | Learn | Share.
